What We Collect

When you use Resume ATS, we collect:

• Account info: email, name (when you sign up)
• Resume data: uploaded files and extracted text
• Job descriptions: text you paste for tailoring
• Usage data: features used, formats generated

How We Use Your Data

• Parse and format your resume using AI (Claude by Anthropic)
• Generate Resume Readiness Scores
• Tailor your resume to job descriptions
• Track usage for billing purposes
• Send transactional emails (welcome, usage alerts)

AI Processing

Your resume text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for parsing, scoring, and tailoring. Anthropic does not store or train on API inputs. Your data is processed and discarded.

Data Retention

• Free accounts: resumes deleted after 30 days of inactivity
• Paid accounts: data retained while subscription is active
• Account deletion: all data permanently removed within 24 hours

Data Sharing

We never sell your data. We share data only with:

• Anthropic: resume text for AI processing (not stored by them)
• Stripe: payment processing
• Supabase: database hosting (encrypted at rest)
• Resend: transactional emails

Your Rights

• Delete your account: Settings → Delete Account
• Delete individual resumes: Dashboard → select resume → Delete
• Export your data: contact josh@palavir.co

Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Supabase AES-256). We use row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication only. No third-party tracking cookies. Analytics (PostHog) runs in cookieless mode.
